My first hearing aid 20+ years ago at age 45 was an in the ear….$950….over the next 15 years I went through 3 or 4 more…lost them. All had to be adjusted by the audiologist. I think $12-1300 is what I paid for the last one. Four years ago I bought l/r over the ear “state of the art” aids..$3000 plus..very light..almost invisible..but they became dislodged too easily when removing my glasses. Lost both with in two years….which brings us to the PRO. I’ve had them for six weeks. The best description for them is “WOW”. Around the house..the tv volume is now at 15 instead of 35…the aids work so well my wife asks ME to turn up the volume so she can hear…and I’ve always joked that she can hear a fly flap its wings at a hundred yards!! I can hear conversation across the room. Concerts and musicals are a joy again. If the situation calls for it the aids are EASILY adjustable with the touch of a button or the volume control. A “2” setting is good for most situations for me…oh, and I didn’t change a battery till the fifth week…being able to turn them off at night without having to open the battery compartment is a nice plus. The thin tube/open fits kits are probably a must for many as the open fit allows normal sounds that the closed fit don’t.I would suggest to the company that they extend the thin tube to replace a half an inch of the thicker connecting tube for reduced visibility. Otherwise, this an excellent product at a VERY reasonable cost. Prior to this purchase the LOWEST quote for a single device was $1400. I have shared this experience with several of my patients and our friends, and will continue to do so. Thank you MD Pro.

Much better than Songbird. Better controls, sound and comfort.

I am well pleased with the air hearing aid. I previously had a songbird. the sound is more natural and less feedback

I am most pleased with the ability to adjust the MD Hearing Aid to the environment that I happen to be in. All others I have had never had that feature. If I needed an adjustment, it meant a visit to the Doctor for adjustment. Would you buy a TV set if you had to go back to the dealer to change the volume or channel? Best of all is the reasonable price! My old pair from Costco cost 5 times as much as the MD Hearing Aids. The MD Hearing Aid batteries last 3 times longer than my old ones. I like the MD Hearing Aid battery pack. It has the MD Hearing Aid website on it. When my Friends ask about my new MD Hearing Aids, I give them the tear off tag on the MD Hearing Aid battery pack with the MD Hearing Aid website on it. I am more than satisfied.

After three years of using a set of expensive completely-in-canal(CIC) hearing aids that were troublesome from the beginning,I explored other options via the internet. I was impressed by the information provided for the MD products and decided to order two of the MD PROs. I have been using them for only three days, but that has been long enough to show me that it is possible to get good quality amplified sound without spending thousands of dollars. The PRO model provides more than ample sound amplification at high quality. Its sound performance is at least equal to that of the expensive CIC aids I used (with frequent trouble and repairs) for the past three years. Since the “works” of the PRO model are entirely outside the ear canal, I do not expect to have problems associated with wax and moisture, which were the source of my trouble with the CIC models.I was pleasantly surprised to find the PRO model to be smaller than I had thought—not bulky at all. After trimming the tubing I was able to get a very comfortable, virtually unnoticeable fit. The volume adjustment feature is an extremely useful convenience that was not available in my former hearing aids.I am now preparing a list of some of the things I will do with the money I have saved by purchasing this quality product instead of the much more costly hearing aids sold locally.much costlier aids

Your product is superior to my first, very expensive Unitron aids: less extraneous noise & more flexible controls.

My previous hearing aids broke. I could not afford the expense of new ones. I like my MDHearingAids I have now so far. The cost was somewhat affordable. Thank you.

I am pleased with this hearing aid. I am going to order another for my other ear. This aid is equal to any aid I have purchased directly from an audiologist, that is a name brand.

I’m your local rep - I’ve sold at least a half dozen units for you - I bought two - one for a friend. I find your hearing aids better than my $3000 ones.

I am an 83-year-old retired Professor of Psychology with expertise in the study of Sensation & Perception. I started looking around on the web to get some idea about what was available in hearing aids and their cost. Most started at about $1000 and went as high as $6000 for a single ear! I was not about to invest $2000 or even more to correct a hearing problem that was not severe enough to make doing something about it essential at this time. I was also pretty sure that I wouldn’t want to wear any kind of potentially uncomfortable device if I did not experience any obvious benefits. This is where I was when my browsing took me to the MDHearingAid.com website, where I bought a single MDHearingAid PRO. When it came a couple of days later, I fitted it in less than 5 minutes and wore it comfortably for a few days, hearing things I hadn’t heard in years. This trial made it clear that I could and would be able to make good use of this kind of BTE (behind the ear) hearing aid, so I bought the second aid for my right ear. The bottom line: I am very satisfied with these inexpensive hearing aids and can recommend them without any qualifications whatsoever.

I have thoroughly evaluated the MDHearingAid™ PRO and can comfortably say that this is an excellent option for those that cannot afford traditional hearing aids. Perhaps the best quality-to-price ratio in the hearing aid industry.

I presented the MDHearingAid PRO to my wife’s Godfather, and he has used it for a week now. Throughout most of his life he has been a very outgoing person, but in the past five years as his hearing loss has become more acute, he has become much more withdrawn from the family. The PRO has made a profound difference in his ability to participate in family gatherings and life in general.

I’m a physician, and I know how much people spend on their health care. They should get the best value for their health care dollar, and this product is just as effective (if not more) than traditional overly-priced hearing aids. I will be recommending the MDHearingAids to my hearing-impaired patients.

My father-in-law would not admit he had a hearing problem. I bought 2 MDHearingAid® PRO hearing aids for him, and now it is much easier to communicate in our house. I will be recommending these to my patients with hearing loss

I did receive my 2 new AIR hearing aids yesterday and already I’m happy with them. I’m replacing the PRO model which served me well for about 2 years. The new AIRs have much less background noise, seems to focus more on speech/talk frequency, so I’m hearing less ‘clangs and bangs’ in the background. That alone is worth the switch for me. I did install the ‘old-style’ tubing, which I found with my hearing loss to give me better volume. Thanks for addressing a serious problem for the hard of hearing, an affordable hearing aid. - Jim Moran
